Technology has revolutionised the way in which learners access and assimilate information. Operating across 5 sites ICT will play a crucial role in enabling us to realise our vision of an inclusive all-age Academy, allowing learners to learn anytime, anywhere. Working closely with the Principal Director for Learning & Teaching you will help to ensure that we harness the full potential of e-learning, creating a contemporary and engaging environment for pupils and teachers alike.
With line management responsibilities for the Head of ICT you will bring extensive subject knowledge, but more importantly, innovative ideas to support transformation and raise standards. Key to the role is a passion for working in an all-age environment providing e-learning opportunities for all learners, their families and the wider community.
While there is no set path our new Director of E-Learning will have trodden, what is certain is that they will have a powerful track record in using ICT to raise achievement and attainment. A strong commitment to inclusion and engagement is essential.
